Use cases

Remember the context before the next step.

Start where the same customer, account or task returns. Your product saves the conversation and recalls its current context before responding.

Returning-customer continuity#

Who: service businesses and the software that answers their calls or messages.

In: a permitted transcript, explicit customer/thread reference and staff corrections. Out: exact prior requests and attributed source evidence, with unknown event times and omissions visible.

Use it: show the next staff member that a caller requested contact after 7 pm. A Woof-style call intake product could retrieve this before its next conversation. Booking, availability and confirmation stay with the business's live system.

Success: staff can find and cite a relevant prior request without treating an old request as a confirmed appointment.

Account and case handoffs#

Who: support, account teams and advocate workflows.

In: authorized customer conversations, case updates and corrected notes grouped by an application-owned thread. Out: current bounded evidence for the next teammate.

Use it: a Pinnie-style advocacy workflow could carry a member's stated preferences into a handoff. A Highbeam-style finance product could supply account conversation context to its existing agents. Clinical decisions, account identity, balances, permissions and financial transactions stay in their authoritative systems.

Success: a teammate sees the current request and can open its supporting original, with sensitive access controlled by the application.

Agent task continuity#

Who: teams building assistants, agent runners and long-lived task products.

In: task conversations and tool results, grouped by stable task IDs. Out: the current thread context before the next turn or tool decision.

Use it: an Alfred-style assistant or an OpenClaw-based product could restore selected task context. Existing action ledgers and approval systems keep execution authority. A saved tool message is evidence of what was recorded, not proof an external action succeeded.

Success: the next session can recover the user's current instructions while corrections and withdrawals remove stale source material.

Other focused fits#

  • Brain Computer: personal evidence recall and original inspection through permitted native sources.
  • Mux-based learning or research products: a product could send authorized transcript excerpts as messages for a defined session or course thread.
  • Saru-style relationship products: retain a brand conversation's current requests and preferences as attributed messages.
  • Enterprise workflows: start with one support account or incident thread.

These are possible integration examples.

Build your first integration#

  1. Choose one returning entity or task and define its stable thread ID.
  2. Authorize the user's access in your product; send only permitted complete originals.
  3. Recall before a handoff or reply and inspect evidence coverage.
  4. Use current version IDs for corrections and withdrawals.
  5. Measure the workflow with fictional tests before introducing approved customer data.
